1108 -

Sky Blue dots to match the new shirts, we're getting trendy, but Clousseau proving how clueless he is confused them with the blue sky and sea. The Coach dragged us through soft sand up and down rocks and hills and over tarmac raods past hares all for the sake of spectacular views not a single new hasher joined to see. The returnees got soaked for their efforts.
Poor Show from the VC, moving house is a weak excuse. For a Hash Master, inexcusable, Hope the spy is watching.
On On.

1106: Flotsam & Jetsam 11006? 10106? 1006?

Fast Eddie and Mo set a surprisingly challenging hash for the time of year. They took us South towards the Dukhan Camp Site where we had a predictable but decently long and undulating run.

As always, Eddie did not disappoint with his ON-IN creativity, hiding it among a pile of driftwood, nets and plastic bottles on the beach.

As Cluseau was the first in he decided to demonstraite his excellant numeracy skills once again, fumbling the run number three or four times. Ceweed finally helped him out by writing the correct number in the sand.

Congratulations to Fast Eddie for completing 500 runs and to Madame Klipe for running her 300th.

A lovely sunset over the sea marked the passing of a few more cans of the dwindling supply of Oranjebaum as the hashers discussed politics and religion while scoffing a lovely spicy sausage beany lovingly prepared by Messrs Fast Eddie and Mo.

1105: High Speed Hairwash

Veteren Hare Ceweed set three twisty turny trails and a couple of falsies at a nice spot inland of Khatiyah Main. Most people knew that he would not put the ON-IN far away from the end of the third but one fool and his dog slid down the side of a scree slope and went up a high jebel in search of the finish.

Fast Eddie's son Declan and his freind Stuart made an appearance. I think they quite enjoyed running around the desert without being shot at for a change.

Cluseau carried on the tradition of giving a vengance based bucketing to Myself, Coach and Methuselah. Pegasus nearly escaped by running away but did not count on the spy being quicker, even with a bucket of water in hand.

A lovely medium spiced vegetarian beany was provided by Pegasus and Methuselah which was appreciated by human hashers and those from the animal kingdom alike.
