1092 Pip's Bash

A Coach Special. 7 trails he said, that was the first 'falsie' of the evening. It was a good turn out for a Thursday run. GL wasn't especially kind with the bucket.

Then all round to Pippin's for the bash, it was a different kind of a night, though the food was up to tasty expectations. It being holiday season, we had a steady stream of arrivals and departures (Bubbley was both, several times), just the ticket for a send off to wembley..come on you whites, see you for the 1094th.

1091

A grand turn out for the long awaited virginal trails of Pickle and Jess despite the increased notch in temperature.
And it was worth it. Out in the Zikrit, hole in the wall territory but from a new angle. We earned our refreshment indeed.
Gorgeous Alannah is now known as Fag Ash Lil. On On.
Rave On droned on and on and put most of us in the bucket for all sorts of dubious reasons. Notably numbers managed to refrain from entering the circle. Ooooh.
1630 run on Thursday, then round to Pippin's for knees up.
And here's the photo to prove there really is a Loch Zikrit monster.

sorry, moose, a dukhan by pass moose.

1090 Monsieur Clueless is 200

The hareless hash, much to the delight of Adam, much less so to some of our older legs and joints, in typical fashion went on and on and on and on and on and......
Sideshow had kindly put in umpteen trails and umpty falsies and as usual all the wrong people got them. After Katie took us KMS out into the desert, Adam took us still MILES further, Gary, Ms Whiplash and others led us cruelly astray, and them's just the ones I remember. It was long and hard and hot.
That done, we celebrated Klouseau's birthday, it's been an eventful 200, the last hundred including looking after us lot and then becoming Dad.
We said Farewell in a down down kind of way to Rowdy John, who suggested we might not have seen the back of him yet. You'll always be welcome back JR. We remember and appreciate some of the notable trails you've set, and been surprised (to sleep) at the eloquence of some of your comments (that went on and on and on...)
We got in the mood for Mr Dixon's naming next week. And then I was off to get ready for the big match so nothing further to report. (League One Play Off Semi Final Monday 12th May).

1089

Very Welcome Back Gus, especially as he set the run, along with Fit Bird, Legless and The Pest. I guess Mr Moon was involved too but that remains to be confirmed.
It was at the peninsula's west coast peninsula, where the palm trees used to grew, another elevated sea view and a good run. It was even too much of a good thing for Bummer who got the bucket for evasive tactics. Darren pranced, posed, preened and parodied his way round making sure tens of names were on the tips of our tongues.
Lately we've had Mooses, Fuggers, Gazelles, foxes, dingos, wolves, camels, goats, snake warnings, and today a unicorn. Alannah was not so impressed and continued happily with her Bud n Sand.
Pickle seemed so at home with a bucket and found so many reasons and so many hashers to drench it's good news it won't be her for a while.
Bubbley had been cooking all day, and well worth it it was too. That's if you were cautious with the it's not hot I only put a couple of bags of chillis in dish.
Thanks all.
See you next week.
