1104: Cluseau's Double Back Bonanza

Sorry for the delay everybody. Here is last Sunday's hash review.

Cluseau set a lovely hash, very considerately leaving fresh footprints in the sand for people to follow between the first and second trails. Just as well because he took us nearly back to the cars for the second. There was not a lot of enthusiasm to look for the third though. More interesting were the lizards scuttling around the place. When the on-on was called, some people limped, some walked and some made a bit of an effort to run to the end. Methuselah found the on-in just over a ridge and sprinted to the finish closely followed by myself (HTT).

As per usual the spy does not really need a valid reason for bucketing someone, vengeance will do. Ceweed was bucketed for leading us astray on the way to last week's hash and myself and Klipe got soaked by Fast Eddie for the sheer hell of it.

The production department kindly arranged for an explosion and a thick black cloud to mark the end of the beer. How did they know?

1103: I Spy a water fight.

Ceweed set a lovely medium sized hash for the few remaining hashers although the dets got further and further apart towards the end.

Hot-To-Trot (Myself) had the honour of being spy. Cluseau was bucketed for over-populating the planet, Coach for non-attendance of my party last week and Hash-Ash and Margreet had a special bucketing for leaving. Hash-Ash tried to resist the bucketing in what I am sure is a direct violation of lots of Hash rules and should be punished appropriately. Spy and bucketee both ended up getting partially soaked, luckily the hot weather dried everybody off in no time.

1102

It seemd to went quiet so in the interlude....

Coach blew us off, as only he can, does, do and did.

The Meths/Pegasus pair gave us the distance and climbs we've come to expect. With a fabulous view to boot.

Pippin put the farewell boot in (that should read bucket). She was typically gentle really. And we bade sad bye bye to her and Whiplash.

And went to see Fag Ash Lil, Kanga D and ol Father Kluless and the delightful 3 day old Neve (sp?). FOr she's a Hasher through and through!

Trotter took some sneaky photos that i'm sure are bound to appear once he emerges fro the influence of pips farewell downdown and rewrites this account.

We hoped Flash Gorman reads this. Everyone wishes him all the very best. He really is a hasher through and through. On On to that!

Run 1101: The long and the short of things

An experimental hash setting was laid by Ceweed and Hot-to-Trot (myself) with a short set of trails laid in red and a long set of trails set in blue. There were a lot of doubts about the practicality of this but everybody seemed to get the idea.

Cluseau came charging in first to make sure he got one of the last Oranjebooms before they go to Dutch beer heaven. Our maths teacher got confused between binary 8 and 10 and pronounced it run 1111. All was forgiven when he just said it again louder and clearer.

Almost unanimously Erik was named Hash Ash and has been given the prestigous honour of "Order of the Wheezing Cough (OWC)" by John Players Ltd.

Rave-On gave an evil bucketing certain of avoiding retribution as this was his last hash with QWCHHH, completely soaking Rocky and missing everybody else.

Welcome to V-Comet's parents visiting on their way from Canberra to Ireland and a new recruit, Dem from Rural lincolnshire (hope he brought some sausages with him).
